An interesting incident during december hloliday

Last December holiday was fun; my whole family went on a five days overseas trip to Macau. It was a pleasant and worthy place with lots of tourist attraction. The stunning variety of distinctive cuisine available there makes it a paradise for food lovers. With plenty of fresh ingredients and many restaurants to choose from, there is food to please every palace.
Macau’s delicacies are known-to-world, which always attract locals and tourists. The vast numbers of local food stalls there, caters to every visitor’s taste and budget. Over there the traditional Chinese delicacy is an item that tourists ‘must-buy’, such as crisp, sweet egg rolls and egg balls (fluffy, tiny oval pastries made from what resembles pancake batter) etc. The food over there was fabulous, despite its low price. The night market stalls have lots of wonderful and famous snacks, biscuit and cookies. The whole road was really packed with people. What amazed me there was, despite the cold season, where tourists wrapped themselves with clothing, their people dress as normal ignoring the cold weather.
Besides eating and buying their locals food, my family went on shopping over many famous streets and malls. The items, clothing and jewelry are available at very reasonable prices. The range of clothing is enormous; however the most widely available are jeans, children’s wear and sports wear. But due to the wrong timing we chose, it was winter seasons, so we did not find much clothing to our liking. As a hot and tropical country like Singapore, there wasn’t any use with winter wear. We were all disappointed, thinking that we could return with bags of clothing. Fortunately we still manage to buy a few pair of jeans and t-shirts. One more thing to mention is that items over there could be bargain till very low and reasonable price, wonderful isn’t it? Other than eating and shopping, we did not forget to visit the premier attraction of Macau. One night when we were traveling on their bus back to our hotel, we past by one of Macau’s popular landmark, it was the graceful statue of Kun lam. It was beautiful scenery, standing on a podium among the seas. Under it, people were invited to rest and meditate. Besides that I noticed there were many casinos located, wherever you go you could see one. The number of casinos in Macau is almost countless. Unfortunately my sister and I were under age, so we did not have the chance to go in and play or gamble. There was once we manage to sneak in and took a round tour before we were caught and being check, in the end we were being chase out by the security guard.
On the last day, we really can’t bear to leave the place. But luckily we took a lot of pictures of its beautiful scenery as memories. It was indeed a fun and memorable trip, as we really had lots of fun and were all looking forward to the next trip to Macau again.
